Learn to Shoot

This 2 1/2 hour class is suitable for absolute beginners, but also for people who have shot just a little, but are still not comfortable with it, or who plan to take the LTC (CHL) class and need to learn to shoot first.

Class sizes are limited to 6, but are often smaller. We meet at my private range, spend some time learning the safety rules, how guns work, ammo types, action types, and the fundamentals of shooting, then practice shooting. We shoot at small targets at a close distance, to develop precision and consistency. Your experience is closely supervised with safety and success in mind. Everyone seems to enjoy this class a lot.

If you don't have your own handgun, we can provide guns and a selection of ammo for $30.00. You will get to try several guns in different calibers and sizes, usually including .380, 9mm, and .45.

If you are bringing your own gun, please bring 50 rounds of ammo as well.

Private Instruction

This is private instruction, for intermediate or advanced level shooters. This is nominally for one student, but can be a family/group of two (or three) (charge per person).

We meet at my private range SE of Princeton, review the safety rules and the fundamentals of shooting, then practice shooting, both precision and defensive. Your experience is closely supervised with safety and success in mind.

Please bring 50 rounds of ammo as well.

Cost: $80.00 (Each person) (Range fee is included; you must supply your own handgun and ammo)
